"The Wonder Head"

I wonder as I wander
Along the streets of painted memories;
Sealed with far flung fantasies.
What will become of me
When the flight of life lands me
To the shore of tomorrow?
The pain engraved in my marrow,
The silent tears and innocent longings,
Lingered will they be for mourning?
Or like the moon of late winter,
Will they slowly wither?

Unexplored and unpredictable!
Hidden is the mystery of “Tomorrow”,
With its ecstasies and sorrows.
Among the silver moon and myriad stars;
Somewhere among Jupiter and Mars;
Somewhere must the answers align.
Will time, with its wings of divine,
Reveal the volume of profound wonder?
I wonder as I wander…..
